    Description

    Vintage sterling silver heavy NAVAJO stamped (with copyright symbol following the maker’s mark) and sterling concha belt. Best offer.

    Weight: 173.7 grams
    Makers Mark: See photos # 3 and # 4. There is a copyright symbol next to the makers mark. I am not familiar with what maker the maker’s mark represents. This belt appears to be Native American and hand crafted because there are indentations on the reverse side of the concho showing where the edges on the design of each concho was hammered.
    This is a heavy belt. Each concho is 1.5” x 1.5” and there are 14 concho son this belt. The Hook clasp as shown is very strong and sturdy.
    Photo # 3 and # 4 need to be enlarged to better read the maker’s mark, copyright symbol, and Sterling stamp. On photo #3 the mark is on the hook piece to close the belt. On photo #4 the market’s mark and symbol is to the left at the top of the concho. Both marks are on the last concho in the belt.
