    Description

    The item for sale is beautifully decorated pewter and ceramic lidded beer stein that was made for Anheuser - Busch around the last decades of the twentieth century.   The manufacturer is Gerz in Germany.  The 94% zinc lid is marked by Gerz on the inside.  The subject of the stein is the St Louis Brewery the 1890s.  The stein has slightly embossed colorful decoration depicting the outside of the brewery flanked by panels that include an eagle and clock.  The stein is from Classic Collection series.  The stein was previously owned.  There is no damage.  The previous owner did not use the stein for any purpose other than decorative. The pewter zinc lid has a grey patina. There is no box.  The length, width and height are 5 1/4" x 4" x 8".
